Question 1

How does an order run, from request to delivery?

Accepted Answer

In five steps: request, non-binding quote, data check, production and delivery. After your request, we clarify details and materials, prepare a quote, check your data for print readiness, produce after approval and deliver on time to your desired address. More on this under Services.

Question 2

What exactly do you check in my print data?

Accepted Answer

We check file format, colour space, resolution, bleed, fonts and data compression. Ideally you supply PDF/X in CMYK with 3 mm bleed and 300 dpi images. We also prepare open files from InDesign, Illustrator or Affinity for print. Every file is checked for errors before printing.

Question 3

I don't have print data yet – can you help me?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We take care of design, artwork and typesetting. We also adapt existing layouts to new formats, add missing data and prepare everything for print. More about consulting and concept development can be found under Services.

Question 4

When do you print digitally and when offset?

Accepted Answer

We print small runs and express orders digitally. For large quantities and the highest colour demands we use offset printing. We combine both processes with careful data checking, precise colour control and clean finishing. We choose the right method together in the quote.

Question 5

What finishing options and finishes are possible?

Accepted Answer

We offer matt, gloss, soft-touch, hot foil, embossing, relief varnish, UV varnish accents and film lamination. This gives your printed matter that special feel. We're happy to send material and finishing samples on request.

Question 6

Are custom special formats and die-cuts possible?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Besides all standard DIN formats, we produce custom cuts, contour cuts, special die-cuts and special folding types. On request you'll receive a blank sample beforehand to check format and feel. Ideal for business cards, greeting cards, card sleeves and door hangers.

Question 7

Can delivery go to several locations or to an event?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We deliver throughout Austria to your chosen address, including several locations or directly to an event venue. On-time partial deliveries and self-pickup are also possible. Deliveries to Germany and the EU are arranged individually.

Question 8

Are FSC-certified or recycled papers available?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on request we print on FSC-certified papers or on recycled paper. We state the specific certification of the chosen paper in the quote. We deliberately avoid blanket environmental claims about the finished product.

Question 9

Which industries and customers are you particularly suited for?

Accepted Answer

We work with companies, hospitality businesses, hotels, schools, clubs, event agencies and private customers. Every industry has its own requirements for material, feel and timing – we advise you accordingly. We introduce our customer groups under About us.

Question 10

Do you also produce cards and card accessories?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We produce plastic cards, chip cards and card-stock cards as well as matching card sleeves, card pouches and POS card holders. We advise on material, encoding and point-of-sale presentation.

Question 11

What chip card technologies do you offer?

Accepted Answer

We offer chip cards with Mifare Classic 1k and Mifare Ultralight C. These two standards are intended for existing, non-security-critical legacy systems (e.g. membership, bonus and time-tracking cards); they are not suitable for security-critical access control or payment functions. We're happy to discuss other technologies or manufacturers individually.

Question 12

What's the difference between Mifare Classic 1k and Mifare Ultralight C?

Accepted Answer

Mifare Classic 1k offers 1 KB of memory and is rewritable, Mifare Ultralight C is more affordable with less memory. Important: both standards are considered cryptographically outdated and are no longer suitable for security-critical applications such as access to sensitive areas or payment functions. We recommend them for membership, bonus and time-tracking cards in existing reader systems.

Question 13

How does the compatibility check for chip cards work?

Accepted Answer

In the request form, choose your desired chip card technology or the option "Unknown – please check compatibility". Also state your existing reader system. Before production approval, we briefly check whether the card is technically compatible with your hardware – so you avoid deliveries that end up unreadable.

Question 14

How long is the delivery time?

Accepted Answer

Standard products such as flyers or business cards are usually ready in 3–5 working days after data approval. Finished products, bindings and special formats take a little longer. Express is possible on request – just let us know your desired date.

Question 15

What does shipping cost?

Accepted Answer

Nothing. We deliver free of charge throughout Austria – even from a quantity of just 1 item. Shipping is included in every quote, whether it's a single sample or a large print run.

Question 16

Is there a minimum print run?

Accepted Answer

No. We produce from a single item – such as individual posters or samples – as well as runs of several tens of thousands. For very small quantities we print digitally, for larger runs by offset.

Question 17

Why aren't prices listed?

Accepted Answer

Because every print job is calculated differently: print run, format, paper, finishing and deadline significantly affect the price. That's why you always receive an individual quote – all prices on request, non-binding and free of charge.
